We all know that compassion lies at the very heart of therapeutic practice, and helping clients foster compassion for themselves is an essential therapeutic goal. But how often do we systematically integrate compassion into your practice? Do we have the tools to assess how compassionate our clients are with themselves or how far along we are in helping them reach their compassion goals?
In my experience, doing successful work in compassion starts with a personal connection to the work. It starts by learning how to cultivate your evolved capacity for compassion in your personal life. That sets the stage to bring our compassionate selves more fully into our practice.
But you also need specific tools and skills that allow you to systematize, assess, and treat compassion properly in the clinical setting. Our methods are grounded in evidence based practices from CFT and the supporting science of compassion.
This workshop is designed to provide you with both the personal experience and the clinical tools you need to integrate compassion more fully into your work with clients.
