Welcome to Autumn 2018 from The Center for CFT in NYC!

We have some very special, international Compassion,

Acceptance, Mindfulness & CFT Trainings to share:

Hello,

Dr. Dennis Tirch here. I hope you are having a wonderful completion of your Summer!
(and for our Southern hemispheric friends, Happy End of Winter!)

We have had a lot of requests to post a list of upcoming trainings, so please consider this a “one time announcement” of upcoming compassion trainings from the NYC CFT Center.
Please pardon any cross posting. Thanks so much.

Laura and I are very glad to announce a series of some of the most interesting compassion trainings, conferences and gatherings in which we have been involved to date. For example, we will be presenting at the Annual CFT Conference in London, October 3rd - 5th, and taking a deep dive into advancing our ability to use the competencies of compassion in the psychotherapy room. It is going to be a great conference, and we hope as many members of our CFT and Contextual Behavioral Science families as possible can join us! The conference looks really exciting, and the link to details can be found below.

We will also be teaching in Ireland, Sweden & Denmark; presenting at the American Psychosocial Oncology conference in New York, and delivering local trainings in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. I'm particularly excited about a gathering of compassion and mindfulness teachers from many disciplines that is taking place at The Omega Center this October, too. Chris Germer, Kristin Neff, Thubten Jinpa and many others will be there, and it looks like a unique gathering across compassion interventions.

Our training calendar can be accessed here: (http://www.mindfulcompassion.com/new-events-1/)
and has links to all of the details and registration for every event.

One of the most rewarding things about conducting trainings in mindfulness, acceptance and compassion has been the growing community, and the powerful inner work that we have been doing together in developing our ability to face the suffering of our clients and ourselves, with strength, care and equanimity.

We hope to see you at one of these events, or even the CFT conference in London. Feel free to phone me at 845-664-1498, or text if you have any questions. You can also email me at compassi...@gmail.com. You can reach me here if you have questions about individual or group consultation/supervision, or if you need support in your research, too.

One last thing - yes, we will be hosting an extensive, foundational online CFT course beginning in November with Praxis Continuing Education, and that will lead into our 2nd Annual Compassionate Mind Summit and Retreat in 2019. We have had a phenomenal response to last years training and Summit, and we are gearing up for some exciting things in 2019.

Here are the highlights of the upcoming trainings in 2018:

1. An Introduction to CFT in Stamford CT with Dr. Laura Silberstein
