Welcome to the ACBF
: the mailing list of the ASEAN Community Blind Forum. The purpose of this group is to be an open forum for discussion on issues concerning blindness and blind people in the ASEAN countries. Although we would like to keep this list as open and allow free flow of discussion as much as possible, we would like to cordially request that you concentrate on issues which affect the lives of blind people in general and try to refrain from personal matters.

Focusing on what we discussed during the first ASEAN Community Blind Forum, is certainly encouraged. However, you may want to bring in some new topics if necessary. For the time being, I am going to serve as convener, but will do the least to intervene so that we can all feel at ease.

Again, let us start our journey to the ACBF which will keep us in touch with one another. And let us use this forum to build the community which will be more friendly, more respectful, more inclusive of and accessible to blind people, with or without sight.
