need legislative letters from parents

Dear Alamo City Behavior Analysts,
Autism Lifeline Links (ALL) is gathering letters from parents to share their story about how 1) ABA has helped their child/how not getting ABA is impacting their child and 2) how long their child has been on a Medicaid interest list/how helpful the funding has been. We will use these when we lobby for Medicaid coverage of ABA therapy and funding for waiver programs. Please help us by asking families to use the template attached and share their story. When we make visits to various legislators, it is very impactful to present a letter from one of their constituents. Please have them send the letters to me directly or you can pass them along to me.
Also, if you are interested in becoming more involved with these efforts, we have a Public Policy Workgroup with ALL (https://autismlifelinelinks.org/Get-Help-Get-Involved#tab_advocacy) and a Public Policy Group with TxABA (http://www.txaba.org/SIGs/PublicPolicySIG.php); we are always looking for more members.
