The Xbox Netflix app is one of the most efficient ways to use Netflix. If, however, you're switching accounts, selling your Xbox, or cancelling your service, you can log out from within the Netflix app in no time.
I have a Sharp Roku TV and it keeps dropping whatever I'm watching and switching to the Netflix login screen every 5 minutes or so. I'll be watching a movie on Amazon Prime or HBO and the screen will just go black, and switch over to Netflix. I went to the main menu and checked for the most recent software update, and it's up-to-date, so I'm not sure how else I can fix this. Please help. Thanks!
This would appear to be a remote issue. Please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.
For my specific issue I finally have an answer. My son is pushing the "cast" button on his Ipad. It had nothing to do with the Roku, remote or TV and everything to do with casting. My son has low vision and hits the wrong icon when trying to perform a search.
There is something wrong - i am watching prime and it keeps switching back to netflix and my son gets logged out from Netflix on the Ipad whenever this happens. Very annoying - it happens often. This seems to be a bug Roku needs to fix it.
My TCL Roku keep switching to HBO this is ridiculous! TV only a year old to be having issues. I need some answers now! I would not be purchasing another TCL tv wouldn't be recommended to family members or friends.
The only problem I do have is that sometimes those apps get a little finicky sometimes, as Netflix does when trying to switch accounts. Whether you're using an Xbox 360 or a PlayStation 3, it's just too damn difficult to log out and log back in with another account, since the Netflix account is directly associated with the PS3 and Xbox gamertag.
As it turns out, there's a little known secret that works for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems. When logged in to the Netflix app on your console, simple enter the secret combination below on your controller's directional pad.
What this code does is take you to the secret Netflix diagnostics page, which you can use to deactivate and log out of your account, then associate a different Netflix account with your gamertag, among other things.
All you have to do is go to your Netflix home and type in the simple code. Make sure that when you type in the code, you do it at a moderate pace. If you do it too quickly or too slowly, the code will not work.

I recently switched to Verizon and was informed by store associate and also online chat that if I would get the disney+ bundle for each line that sign up on Play more Unlimited plan. Currently I have 4 lines on Play Unlimited but am only able to create/link one disney+ account. This is of no use since Hulu and ESPN+ only offer 1 and 3 concurrent streams respectively. Disney+ is 4 screens, but I plan to add another line and then that won't work either.
With the current promotion, I have to be on premium unlimited plans for all devices. If i'm unable to create/link an individual account, then I'm stuck paying $10 more per line with no benefits since I cannot use the bundle effectively.
Again why are all of Verizon's replies not addressing the limited screens? You guys simply keep repeating yourself "One login per account". What about the screen problem? Hulu and ESPN plus both limit us to two screens... So six users are supposed to use two screens. All of my users are in the same house but they very very rarely end up watching the same television. This is causing a major problem. Plus I can no longer remove the commercials from Hulu I'm stuck with them now. thank you Verizon. This problem mixed with your never-ending failed promotions is starting to make me dislike a company I once loved dearly. I could write a book on the felled promotions. And it goes all the way back to 2019. Every promotion my family has ever gotten has had to be followed up by 10 to almost 20 or more phone calls to actually get it on to the account. At this moment Verizon still owes my family $600 for failed promotions. That we did not realize we're not actually on the bill
I'm not stupid I know Verizon doesn't dictate these things. I wasn't asking you to dictate nor change how many times screens can be viewed. I was asking you why promote something to 5,6,7 or 8 lines? Knowing only two screens can be shared!
I used the automated help system to add my line as I was getting a maximum error every time I tried to add a line as an account manager through the browser. It added the account manager status to a line in a matter of seconds, the line owner logged out and back in to their profile and voila they could activate the Disney bundle to their profile. Just use the same email to add an account manager as their profile
we have 5 lines are eligible for Disney+ bundle. We tried with my Verizon app and in web site. We are unable to create individual D+ bundle accounts. We tried calling customer care multiple times. Every time they are connecting to Disney + team. Waiting for almost 2 hrs and call will be disconnecting by Verizon support team without any resolution.
I've received conflicting information with this, that each line gets its own Disney/Hulu account, from multiple reps in different departments in the company, and it sounds like that is happening for many others. That's not to say "you owe us more Disney accounts," but rather "fine, but you really need to blast a crystal clear email to everyone with Verizon work email address to clear this up for people." People are definitely buying phones and upgrading lines after receiving incorrect information, which is really not great.
Adding to the confusion is the way the plans are packaged/sold - the Disney account bundle is marketed as a line-by-line perk of picking a particular plan for each line, e.g. "play more." But once one eligible plan is on the account there is no longer any benefit to upgrading the other lines to that level, unless you care about hotspot or priority data or whatever. Which again, is fine, those features might be worth buying into that plan for a lot of people. But this isn't at all clear reading through your marketing materials. The Disney bundle functions as an account level feature, like a data bucket on the limited plans, so honest billing would feature it as an account level, rather than a line level, charge. This is going to keep being confusing for people until it gets cleared up one way or the other.
I apologize, as I'm certain this topic has already been discussed to death. Most of the cross-progression related news I've seen is a few months old, so I figured I might as well ask directly if there've been any updates in regard to Xbox and Steam cross-progression.
The reason I'm itching for it so badly is because I have Demogorgon, Steve, and Nancy on Xbox, but most of my characters are on Steam. I only really started playing DBD this year, and at that point, I had moved on from my old dusty Xbox One and never got a chance to buy Demo on Steam. The Xbox Nightmare Edition of DBD was given to me as a gift long after Demo was removed, and Steam keys are beyond expensive. It's frustrating to constantly switch back and forth between two platforms, with one of them having very little in the way of progress and perks (on top of having performance issues), just to play one of my main killers who I can't buy anywhere else. And because the DLC is on the disc, I fear that the disc will one day stop working and I'll lose my favorite killer forever. Although I doubt Demo would even transfer to Steam if the DLC is on the disc, anyway. Still, I would be more than happy to merge my accounts and, at the very least, have all my characters and cosmetics when I play Xbox.
Sadly there's no update for this Cross Progression question. They know it's badly wanted, but they and Microsoft & Sony all have to agree on a deal to make it happen. They've always stated they continue to work on it.
Well I think we can just hope St dlc comes back eventually when netflix managers use some common sense. Then I would get to buy nancy and all her cosmetics. Also would buy cosmetics for my steve and demopuppy. I don't see cross progression happening. Sony or microsoft won't want to lose players to pc.
Yeah, I figured as much sadly. Performance issues on Xbox One are not surprising, especially with my console being so old. It's one of the reasons I switched to PC. The expense of the Xbox Live membership + a new console every few years are some other ones. It's a shame cross-progression doesn't seem likely in the near future due to how messy the licensing would be with Sony and Microsoft, but it happens. I suppose I'll just power through the suffering on Xbone with Demo and default perks until the console dies and I'm forced to buy a newer one, lol
