Support the Arizona Scorpions!!

​Hello All!

As one of the primary goals/objectives per our Constitution, ACA has been fielding a Arizona State Team (AZ Scorpions) for the past couple years as a representation of the best Cricketing talent that Arizona/ACA has to offer. The national competition the Scorpions participate in is the American Champions Cricket League (ACCL)​. ACCL starts on May 15th this year with the Scorpions hosting the Nevada Bluebirds at Snedigar.

As I am sure you can imagine, it takes a lot financially to meet the operating expense for participating in this type of competition. Unfortunately the Scorpions, like most Cricket Teams in the US, do not have any big name sponsors. For that reason, I am requesting the ACA Community of Teams and Players to please support the Scorpions with any donations that you can make. No amount is too little or too much.. every bit helps!! Let's take pride in what the Scorpions stand for.. it is after all OUR OWN TEAM!!

Donations can be sent via PayPal to arizonacrick...@gmail.com. Please indicate on the Payment that it is intended for Scorpions. Or if you so prefer, you can always mail a check and I will deposit it. Let me know if you want to mail a check and I will provide you with a mailing address. Please note that transparent and thorough financial accounting will be made available to the ACA community for all transactions related to the Scorpions. So you can rest assured that your contribution will be put to good use and not line some individual's pockets.. :)

Hello all again! 

Wanted to update you on this effort. We have made decent progress in raising some money for supporting the Scorpions with the help of some generous donations by quite a few of you all ACA well wishers. A BIG THANK YOU to all those that have contributed.. your generosity is immensely appreciated and will go a long way to help the team!! That said, we're still quite a bit short of what is needed overall. To date about $650 has been raised/pledged but the team will need quite a bit more than that as you can imagine. So if you have been procrastinating or sitting on the fence to donate, would really appreciate you to gear yourself into action and contribute whatever you can. Once again, every little bit helps.. so don't hesitate on account of that.
