Guys,
Vishal ask me to cover the schedule during his leave and I am rescheduling the Feb 18th/19th washed out games to Feb 25th/26th. Will update the schedule tonight. Rest of the schedule will be pushed out a week accordingly.
Although the T20 schedule is pretty tight but looking at the point table it’s also critical to play those games for fairness. Umpiring assignment will be the same. And please make the ground booking accordingly.
Thanks
ACA always accommodate the critical games in the past and I am not sure why this will be different this time.
I know theT20 games can pushed out little further but we have to finish the current tournament 1st.
Vishal is trying his best to accommodate the two tournament as well as to finish the games on time. Let me see if we can reach out Vishal.
But if I have to make a call – I like to get those games played since the team relegation depends on those games. And make adjustment to the T20 Schedule accordingly.
Thanks
Please see note from Vishal on Jan 22nd.....highlighted to all of us.Copying Verbatim.Hello all!Unfortunately we've had many games rained out this season. Especially the last two weekends. This creates quite an issue from a scheduling standpoint as I am hopeful everyone understands. However, in recognition of the fact that the 40 Over Tournament is ACA's flagship tournament, we would certainly like to see these games played. Towards this objective, the ACA ExeCom has unanimously decided to extend the schedule for the round-robbin phase of of 40 Over Tournament by two weeks to accommodate all of these games. See below for the new schedule for these games (last column shows Umpire assignment). No additional games will be rescheduled from this point on. If a game does get rained-out, teams will have to share points.Note for our T20 Tournament: The extension by 2 weeks is going to result in really precarious situation for our T20 Tournament to follow from a scheduling standpoint with the completion possibly going into the first weekend of June. To try and solve for that and wrap it up a week or two sooner, we're going to ask every team to be ready to play at least one weekend where they would have two T20 games. Hopefully no Team will have an issue with that given that these are T20 games.Regards!VishalOn Behalf of the ACA ExeCom

I agree with Bhargav and the Vipers also dont agree to the reschedule of the game. It was stated clearly that after your first re-schedule of the rained out games you would not be doing any other re-scheduling. What are you going to do if it rains again? How many weeks are we going to keep passing this on. It was already stated on the email from Vishal back on Jan 22nd I believe that stated that there will be NO other reschedule games.Players from both teams sacrificed their long weekend and showed up at the ground ready to play the game despite the rain on Saturday. We already have also made a request for ACA to update our NRR which is inaccurate due to a forfeit from the Cavs and have yet to get this addressed from ACA. This is imperative as it also has an impact on the rankings and needs to be updated.Thankfully,Rod GohilOn Monday, February 20, 2017, 8:45:59 PM MST, Bhargava Poludasu <bharg...@gmail.com> wrote:Adding Rod to this converstaionOn Mon, Feb 20, 2017 at 6:21 PM, <bharg...@gmail.com> wrote:Sumon,Vishal cannot decide something without the exec comm. I don't it works that way. You guys have already rescheduled these games once. It doesn't make sense to do out the second time too. What happens if it rains again? How many times will you reschedule. And it has been made abundantly clear that as per the exec committee decision there won't be any more reschedules.RegardsBhargava
