WA State Heat Related Illness - New Requirements!
On June 18 of this year, WAC 296-62-095, Heat Related Illness (HRI),
goes into effect as law. It pertains to any employee who works
outdoors. The law requires employers to implement workplace practices
to reduce risks of heat related illness. This includes training to be
done each year for all employees before they begin outside work.
