In some ways yes Athletes should promote there abilities, but God gave us things that we have no choice but to live with our limbs.

I think that technology in sports is a bit of an advantage because thy are using the power of something else and not their own power. Also its unfair to keep them out of games just because they're handicapped.

i think its inspiring.
and people with legs who play any sport, shouldn't have any excuses of they cant do something.
and should be grateful.
"Soon, athletes using technology to enhance their bodies will be able to jump higher, leap farther and last longer - stretching our concept of what it means to push the human body to the limit."
i don't know about that ^ though! kind of cheating in a way.

I understand what the aritcle is saying & were it's coming from saying that people in the paralympics can have advanced technology so they can have advantages but it's just as hard to practice in them & learn how to profect it.

In  Oscar Pistorius condition it's understandable.

I think using this type of technology to help those who can't do things that we can is amazing. They cant now do sports and go out and feel great having that chance to do something on their own and be free in a sense. I'm all for this type of technology and hope they keep developing more new kinds of ways to change lives.

Since they have will have a jump higher, leap farther and last longer i go against it because more people would most likely fake injuries

This is really inspiring but it also makes me think that it's kinda unfair because it might have given him a bit of an advantage. . .  but technology helped him to change the way that people look at handicaps.

Technology has given people without limbs the chance to reach the goals they have always wanted. It doesn't make a person stronger or faster but gives them the chance to be who they want to be.

i think that is actually inspirational seeing these athletes with disabilitiies participating in the olympics / any other sport.
but i agree with selena because if they enhance their  bodies to be able to  jump higher, last longer, etc its cheating .

I think it is a good think that they are making this technology , and they should keep making it so that way people who are handicap can still play sports .

I think that the use of this technologies in sports are a good thing b/c if there's people out there that want to play a sport than this is one way to make their dreams come true and know how it feels to be able to run.

I feel that technology in sports can be used ONLY to give a fair advantage. For instance with Oscar Pistorius, the technology gave him his legs back so he was able to fairly compete with other competitors.

Its true that people would fake there injuries to get the parts to get better and its selfish people would do that because they have no need for the extra part

i agree with Selena, enhancing the body with technology is cheating it should be their own personal endurance. Not a machine helping them  to be faster and stronger.

The use of technology in this case is really helpful because now people that have lost a body part and is in love with playing a sport doesn't have a limitation.
"It's about trying to ensure that everyone with their particular limitations is able to use technology in a way that optimises their performance."
