Second Annual ACA Archival Screening Night

Hello ACA community,

At the 2020 ACA Conference the Sound and Moving Image SIS will be presenting its second annual Archival Screening Night - a program of preserved short video and/or film clips (5 minutes or less) from archives across Canada. We are now accepting proposals to be part of the program.

If you have a digitized film from a recent discovery or preservation effort you’d like to prepare a short clip from to be screened as part of this program please send us a proposal via this form:

Clips can, but do not have to, relate to the conference theme of "20/20 Vision: Seeing Archives Differently" https://archivists.ca/2020-Annual-Conference

The screening will take place on the evening of Thursday, June 9th in a room in the Student Union Building, University of British Columbia (location to be announced). The deadline for submissions is April 15th. You will be informed if your clip is chosen in early May.
