Hello
Here are some ruff questions and answers for the direct examination of
Contralto. Feel free to print them and make notes and bring them
Tuesday:)
What is your occupation?
I been working in my family owned garden variety shop since I dropped
out of school at 16 years old.
How did you know Frost?
See Frost and I struck up a business deal when she wanted a little
extra cash to play around with. She wanted some money, I had a little
extra so I loaned it to Frost. With a little interest tacked on for my
benefit, it was a good deal for everyone.
You say Frost wanted a little extra cash to play around with what do
you mean by that?
See Frost likes to play the tables, she is a gambler. She bets big,
and doesn’t stop. The thing about Frost was she isn’t a dead bet. She
was a good player. She got knowledge of the cards, and even if she
lost one or two, here or there, she always got back in the game. She
always had the cash when I came acallin’.
How did your and Frost’s business deal go?
Frost always made good on payments, one of my best customers,
actually. Before she died she owed me roughly 200,000 dollars, was I
worried about payments? Not at all, Frost had already paid me nearly
300,000 dollars in the past. Frost ALWAYS paid in the end.
What was your last encounter with Frost?
Before Frost was murdered, on March 20th, I headed over to Shallots to
meet up with her. When I was standing in the alleyway, I see Frost
smoking a cigarette, and then I see Freemen come out. This is odd
because at this time everyone is usually gone besides Frost. Anyway,
Freemen comes storming out, he is yelling at Frost, telling her she
ruined their business, and they were going to have to file
bankruptcy, and were going to close, yadayadayada. Next I see Freemen
pull out a big ‘ol knife and point it at Frost. Now I know this was a
knife because the alley is pretty well lit and the shine was
unmistakable. Well, Freemen point the knife at Frost and he begins to
back her back inside Shallots. After a little while, I see Freemen
come out and head home. I waited around for an hour and then headed
home. I never saw Frost come out. It wasn’t until then I figured out
where her payments been commin’ from.
Why didn’t you go straight to the cops?
See I didn’t know exactly what went down that night, and I most
certainly didn’t expect that she was going to get iced. Plus me saying
I was waitin’ around in the alley at night don’t sound so good.
