Hi, all -
I am on the steering committee for the Central Texas Tour de Cure, a charity bike ride benefiting the
American Diabetes Association, and I want to let you know about an initiative we are introducing called
Tour in Training.
Tour
in Training will be a year round campaign to help people stay fit
through cycling, to raise awareness of the Tour de Cure, and to raise
awareness of the Red Rider (cyclists with diabetes) program. It will
consist of regularly scheduled group bike rides (ACA Hosted Rides!!) and sponsored fitness and nutrition
educational events.
We are kicking off Tour in Training on July 14
with a special celebration dinner and presentation on cycling fitness
and nutrition. The event is free, but we need guests to RSVP by July 3
due to limited seating. Here is a more detailed description of the
event:

Hope you can make it, and please feel free to invite anyone you know who might be interested.
Thanks,
Amy
