It's finally September, the weather is cooling, the full moon is
coming, and you know what that means ... it's time to cruze in the
30th Annual Austin Moonlight Cruze Bike Ride, which is now four days
away.
Be at the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge by 2:00AM on September 30th (note
that this is *Saturday* night/Sunday morning), and we roll out at
about 2:10 am.
The route can be found at
http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/134792405
This is an unsupported ride, though if you have a flat or other
mechanical problem there's usually somebody to give you a hand, as the
ride tends to attract at least 500 riders each year.
Whatever your preferred speed, you'll probably find you're not alone,
be it fast or slow -- this ride attracts all sorts of riders.
You will certainly want a headlight and taillight.
