What the heck is a cycle track vs a contra flow bike lane vs a bike
lane? For Bike Month I'll be leading a short ride to highlight some of
the various types of bicycle infrastructure before attending the May
Bicycle Advisory Council Meeting.
After the meeting, we'll head to the Ginger Man to socialize and have
time to ask questions about the BAC, how it functions and ways to stay
informed about cycling in Austin.
Details:
Thursday, May 17th
5:00-6:00pm bike ride from Mellow Johnny's (400 Nueces)
6:00-8:00pm BAC meeting (City Hall Bull Pen)
8:00pm Post-meeting social
Helmets and lock required. Lights required if you'll be riding after
the BAC meeting.
