Puppy Pedal on Sunday, August 5 - come join us!

Hi, All -

Just a reminder that our second-ever Puppy Pedal will be this Sunday at 9:15 am, starting from the Humane Society of Williamson County. (I'll be starting the Velo Vista classic ride at 8 and cycling over via the 15 mile route, if you want some extra miles. )

The Puppy Pedal is a hosted ride presented in partnership with the Humane Society of Williamson County. Ultimately we hope to build a group of volunteers, but you can come and just ride, too! On August 5 we will have aguided tour of the HWSC facility so you can learn about their life saving mission and how you can help.

Love cycling? Love animals? Now there's a bike ride that doesn't make you choose!
We will ride in a group at a beginner-friendly, social pace and wrap up at the Humane
Society of Williamson County to perform volunteer service. You can walk dogs (get some
cross training in), help with facilities or administrative tasks, love on the cats, or help
folks find their new best friend to adopt. (If you’d like to ride but skip the volunteering,
please join us anyway and learn about HSWC’s life-saving mission.)

Free snacks for puppy pedal volunteers! ($5 donation for non-volunteers)
