Hey Everyone!

Hope you all are having a great summer! Here in the office we are making all the preparations for a great Fall session, but in order to effectively do that we need your help.

To be certain of our instructor inventory needs and make sure everyone receives the best teaching equipment, we will be collecting all of the instructor supplies. After we have counted and sorted all of the inventory we will redistribute everything before Fall. The inventory we will be collecting includes: all demo boards and pieces, stray mag sets, books and other prizes, chess boards, piece bags, and carrying bags. If you still have some of this equipment, please call the office and schedule a time when you can stop by while one of us is in. Please schedule a time over the next 2 weeks, as our schedule is very busy late July through August.

 The office number is (818) 888 0012

Also as Fall approaches we are finalizing more and more new schools to work with. This fall you can expect new schools in: Santa Clarita, Camarillo, Simi/Moorpark, and many scattered through LA. The Tom's here in the office have been working hard to secure many schools for the Fall so that everyone will have the opportunity at more work. As I look at the list of potential schools it becomes obvious we need to hire more dynamic and fun chess teachers, such as yourselves 8], to adequately provide for each of these schools. I will be holding interviews in August, if you have someone in mind for the job around the above mentioned areas please feel free to refer them to me. Your recommendation provides a lot of weight in the interview process!

All applicants can email me at ap...@academicchess.net

have them include the following:
  • Location
  • Availability
  • Applicable experience with chess and children
  • References (that's you)
  • Contact information
Thank you guys for all of your great work, I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!

P.S. I heard a rumor we are going to throw a party for you on the 31st of July. Keep posted for details.
