I am trying to assemble single end reads using just se='file.fa"
actual command is
abyss-pe k=100 name=test se='190678.fa' v=-v

the fasta file contains sequences that are of different lengths (from some fragments from different projects)

it fails with the following message,

abyss-pe:554: recipe for target 'test-1.fa' failed

not sure if it is because it needs some paired end files, or if it is a problem with my fasta file

I know I should post more info, but I wanted to make sure the program can take just single end reads and if my mode of use is correct (the documentation was not clear on what happens if there are no paired-end reads)
