Dear Friends,

Some of you have shared mails (anonymous) regarding the Axis Young Bankers program and comparison of the same with FLIP. We understand your concern and would like to reassure of our commitment and focus on the Young Bankers Program of which you were a part.

FLIP was only a pilot program, done on a one time test basis for a small batch (69 nos.) and for branches only in Vijaywada region. The program was actually conceived and committed to at a much earlier time.

In terms of fitment graduates were absorbed as Officers and Post Graduates, incl. full time BTech graduates were to be taken as Assistant Managers.

However post your batch joining in and the fact that it had a very large % of B Techs who have joined the Young Bankers program, the Bank has since discontinued hiring of Engineering graduates in AM grade.

We would like to reiterate to you that the Young Bankers Program is designed to impart a comprehensive Banking training, intended to prepare you for a long term career in Axis Bank. To this end, the Bank has invested considerable effort, time, resources and money giving you training on various aspects of Banking, making you job ready for a promising career in the Bank. The ABYB program is in no manner comparable to test program done on PILOT basis with FLIP which was not continued further.

Going forward, we are looking at building a cadre of bankers through the Young Bankers program and urge you to encourage yourself , place your trust in the training you have received and do well in your assigned roles.

In case you need any assistance to settle down in your new assignment, as you are about to join the Bank on the 1st of March you may write to the Program manager, Ms Sweta Shah at sweta...@axisbank.com or the undersigned.

Having clarified the issue raised, kindly note that the method adopted by some of the students of sending anonymous mails is not appreciated and will not be responded in future. I request you to feel free and confident to share any further needs with your program manager or directly with me and we shall try to help you to the best extent possible.

Regards,
