Jeremiah Walter Webb

Jeremiah Walter Webb, 66, of Wilmington, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017.

His wife, Cheryl Branham Webb, survives. They were married May 4, 1985.

Mr. Webb was born Dec. 16, 1950 in Ravenna, Ohio, son of the late Dr. Walter Bosworth Webb and Ada Ann Crafts Webb. He was a graduate of Ravenna High School.

Mr. Webb was an aircraft maintenance supervisor at ABX for 32 years. He was a member of the Ohio Historical Society, Clinton County Farm Bureau, the Ford Model T Club, the B.P.O. Elks 797, and the American Legion. He was passionate about his farm, antique cars, historical preservation and restoration, and black coffee.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Webb is survived by four sons, Dr. Chad (Jennifer) Webb of Medina, Ohio, Jeremiah (Kelli) Webb of Columbus, Ben (Christyna) Webb of Columbus, and Evan Webb of Columbus; two brothers, Richard (Susan) Webb of Harmony, Pennsylvania and Norman (Connie) Webb of Hiram, Ohio; two sisters, Dr. Martha McGovern of Williamstown, West Virginia and Rev. Jessica (Les) Bennett of Gambrills, Maryland; three grandchildren, Faith Webb, Lance Webb, and Branham Webb; an uncle, Dr. Robert (Bessie) Webb; and his cousins, Ed (Heather) Crafts, Anita (Mark) Mills, David (Amy) Webb, and Dr. Sally Webb.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 20 at the Webb family farm, 1711 N. Nelson Ave., Wilmington. The celebration of Jerry's life and legacy will continue through 6 p.m. for family and friends. Classic cars are encouraged and will be given special parking.

The family would like to thank The Ohio State University Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, the Foster J. Boyd Regional Cancer Center, and Ohio Living Cape May for the care Mr. Webb received.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital c/o The Ohio State University Foundation, 1480 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, OH 43221, or to Pelotonia "The Ride" at www.pelotonia.org/evanwebb.

I second that.  I've been at two companies since the old airborne and even am in a totally new career flying instead of fixing and can attest to the fact that I've never had co-workers who I could trust more or enjoy more working with than the old crew at ABX.  It was a special place and time and I'm grateful to have worked with you all!!

Bill Z.... I was just asking a Nets Jets guy from Columbus about you.  Glad to see you got on with an airline.  I hope all is going well with you and all the rest of the ABX gang.   Not that it's likely, but anyone who is ever traveling through  The quad cities please look me up.
