Abundance meetup - Tuesday 28th October

Hello all! 

Hope you are having a good harvest season!

The nights are getting darker earlier so we thought we might have an indoors meet-up this month. We were thinking of meeting Tuesday the 28th October at the Forest Cafe (http://blog.theforest.org.uk). Our very own Kim Tebble DJs a "Gramaphone Hour" so come along to listen to tunes and make some suggestions for what to do with all our apples! Meet at 7.

As we haven't got many offers of fruit, I'd like to suggest a foraging walk on Tuesday evening - there's still brambles to be picked, and elderberries, rosehips and haws in abundance.

Blackford Hill is an excellent place for brambles, so let's meet at the pond there at 5.45 (which gives us about an hour or so of daylight). Bring tubs and bags.

Yes I do a Gramophone Hour then. It is called 'Grammofonstunde' . It is from 6.00 to 7.00 pm. I play jazz on a wind up gramophone.
