Hi Jess and everyone,

See below, the first email I have received this year for the abundance group. I have also heard indirectly from Kim who said that there are loads of apples waiting to be picked in Traquair though I do not know the details.

Could we organise a meeting asap for anyone wanting to get involved this year and so we can respond to Liz as to whether we can come to pick apples from her garden and perhaps also organise a pick in Traquair?

Jess, are you happy coordinating this?

Thank you for getting in touch. Our group has not gathered again since last year but your email prompts the need to do so. I will contact those previously involved and will get back to you as soon as we've met to see if we can find a good home for your apples.

Having said that, we normally operate within Edinburgh so I am not sure we will be able to help if you are far away. It would be useful if you could you please let us know where your garden is, what variety of apple tree it is and perhaps also some idea of how much there is to pick in weight or bagful?

I imagine that the apples are ripe already, but please let us know if it is best waiting for another few weeks?
