Hi abundance members,

I just wanted to let you know that in relation to the last three requestes below, Kat (copied in) was interested to get back to the calls. I have therefore provided Kat with the email adresses of the people who made teh requests and if you are also interested to join Kat and it is not too late, please get in touch with Kat by email directly.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Abundance has had a few more requests for apple picking as follows:
1) Are you picking apples this year? I have a tree full of them. More than I can handle.
Hope to hear from you
2) I have 2 apples trees which this year have produced a bumper crop.  I have managed to give loads away to neighbours and friends, stored and frozen lots for myself but I still have at least 10lbs left. I have kept the ones that I picked off the ground separate.  They look okay but may show bruising later.  The apples are cooking apples which have a natural sweetness and red tinged skin
3) I have a big crop of Laxton's Superb Apples. These are already off the tree but are still usable as windfalls. Many of them are quite small too and of course they are bashed and nibbled. I'm in the Leith area and could deliver a bag or two if someone could use them. I'm aware that this is a bumper year for apples so if you are inundated then let me know.

These are from thursday last week so please let me know asap if you'd like to get in touch with them.

I've twisted my ankle over the weekend so I'll give it a miss personally but I'll just pass the email contact to whoever is interested and you can do the rest.

Cheers,

Clement
