Diapers are beyond a necessity with a baby. You need them like you need oxygen. That said, they are also ridiculously expensive! And the options! Figuring out the diaper game is almost as tough as picking the perfect name.
These Sims are prone to diaper rash, are often picky with food, and can more easily become overstimulated y too much play and social interaction; however, they also rest more peacefully through the night when soothed.
Finally, changing tables allows Sims to change their Infant and Toddler's clothes and diapers. There are several designs, including a wall-mounted table. Infants will also earn some Milestones with the changing table. Players can also attack a trash bin on the table for Sims to automatically throw away diapers rather than putting them on the floor.
Diaper need is a growing problem impacting parents across the country, including right here in Northwest Ohio. As diaper prices continue to surge, nearly one in two families cannot afford enough diapers for their children. Thanks to the Junior League of Toledo and their community partners, resources are available for parents to help keep their infant or child clean, dry, and healthy.
Clean diapers are a basic need of every baby and toddler. However, recent data from the National Diaper Bank Network shows that an increased number of families struggle to afford enough diapers for their children.
The Junior League partners with social service agencies and other community partners to distribute the diapers and supplies to families in need. Current community partners include the Getting to One, the Parent Empowerment Institute, and Paramount.
Junior League volunteers packaging diapers for distribution in Lucas County.Through the Getting to One program, the Salvation Army provides diapers to more than 300 babies/toddlers in Lucas County each month. Diapers can be requested once families are connected with a community health worker. Diapers are distributed at The Salvation Army location on Erie St. and families can call 419-241-1138 for more information.
The As We Grow program is supported by corporate and individual donations as well as diaper drives held throughout the year. Diaper collection boxes can often be found throughout the community and virtual diaper drives allow people to easily make a monetary donation to this worthy cause.

There we were in a store aisle when suddenly this adorable baby was unspeakably befouled. I had no supplies left to diaper or dress him. So I cleaned him up using what seemed like several hundred wipes, then went up to the counter to ask for a shopping bag. I cut leg holes in the bag and put his naked little butt in it. My older kids were scandalized. The baby, however, was thrilled. He wiggled and kicked his legs in the car seat all the way home just to hear his temporary garment crinkle.
