Dear Colleagues,
As we are aware that the fire incident that happened on the 26th Feb.2016,affected our CPE Radio that established internet network connection between us and the base station of our internet service provider (ISP) ,the CPE Radio and the Cable were burnt.
The site survey report indicates from pent house they would be able to establish line of site(LOS).However , the challenge is that the cable will still run through the defected part of the building ,meaning that this would be temporal pending renovation of the burnt area.
This also means in the event that renovation commences ,there would be a need decommission the equipment by our ISP pending when the renovation is completed to ensure safety of the equipment.
The ISP referred us to the contract agreement under customer obligation 4.3.they charged us for the burnt equipment and cost of fresh installation of new radio tagged as SETUP FEE.
Cost of CPE Radio= N275,809.54
Cost for installation of a new radio= N195,893.06.
We went ahead to negotiate with them and they agreed to forgo the cost of CPE of 275,809.54 and required us to pay the installation cost of N195,893.06.
Upon receiving this I was directed to request for the breakdown of what make up the setup fees to enable the finance team to do needful and am waiting for response from the ISP.
As soon as I get the response and management approve the it , I will follow up with the ISP and ensure they get the link up and running .
I hope before the close of work today all will be set to start the installation tomorrow.
Thank you for understanding.
Best Regards
Hammed Olanrewaju
