Applying for a U.S. passport outside the United States is different than applying inside the United States. Each U.S. embassy and consulate has different procedures for submitting and processing your final documents.
No. The expedited service and shipping fees do not apply outside the United States. Your local U.S. embassy or consulate will tell you about pick-up or mailing options. Embassies and consulates can issue a limited-validity emergency passport if you have urgent travel needs.
Tips for applying from Canada: When renewing your passport by mail, you may request expedited service, but we cannot return your completed passport via 1-2 day or express delivery. Do not include money for 1-2 day or express delivery with your application.
Tips for applying from Canada: If you're eligible to renew by mail, send your Form DS-82 and supporting documents via Canada Post to one of the U.S. addresses (either Routine or Expedited service) listed on Form DS-82. Your completed passport will be returned to your Canadian address via First Class Mail. We cannot return it to you via 1-2 day or express delivery service.
If you are outside the United States and have an emergency need to travel, but you cannot locate your Social Security number, we may be able to issue you a limited passport for direct return to the United States only.
Organisations from countries outside the EU can take part in selected actions of the Erasmus+ programme. In the context of Erasmus+, these countries are referred to as "non-associated third countries (Partner Countries)".
For individuals from other non-EU countries there are some opportunities, for example Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees or the international dimension of student and staff exchange (if your university takes part) and youth exchange schemes.
Is there a way for a front panel control that is not in a loop to pass a value into a while loop? Basically I have a program that will have multiple loops and I would like the ability to stop the program from outside the loops with one singular button that will work on any loop while the loop is still running.
Yes the local variable will work (and I've used it) for stopping a loop from other locations. It does have the pitfall of not being able to extend to multiple loops if it is a latching boolean. The reason is pretty obvious if you think like a latching boolean. "The first time I'm read I'll go back to my default" so the value gets read once and changes state back to the original so it stops one loop and one loop only.
I recently created a security policy rule that blocked outside-outside zone traffic. I did this due to outside traffic that did not match any NAT rules, for some reason, ended up matching the intrazone-default rule. Although this effectively allowed such traffic, such traffic simply aged-out since we have nothing on those public IP addresses (it is all NATed after all). This is improves insight, statistics and so on since this traffic was no longer being allowed.
I did however notice that, when attempting to ping from the public interface of the firewall, it was hitting the same outside-outside deny rule. This is expected since the ping from public interface is after all outside-to-outside zone. Disabling the rule of course means the ping now works.
I am wondering what you all have done in this circumstance? Though we can ping from the inside but are you happy that you can't ping from your outside interface? I was worried it would potentially break path monitoring etc. but that works from the inside so that's fine.
Initially when i started working on Palo Alto devices, i had also came across same situation. I was concerned about traffic which was matching between (outside to outside) zone due to intrazone default rule. As rightly said by you, although there is nothing behind those matching public IPs (as no NAT rule defined) still i had blocked it by adding security policy which will block traffic from outside-to-outside zone and yes, it also blocked internet traffic from external interface. So to avoid this, i did below things.
a. I had few tunnels from my same firewall, so due to outside-to-outside zones security policy, it may have brake my communication between my external interface and the remote end peer public IP.
I will also recommend you to allow internet if you really need it from external interface. Otherwise, if in future you have requirement of tunnel (just an example), you will have to add policy at that time to allow communication with remote end peer. Currently if you do not have any dependencies on internet reachability from external interface, you should be good then. But you should remember to make necessary changes if you got any such requirement in future.
This should fix the issue of our outside source traffic being blocked while still blocking the not NATed default-intrazone outside traffic. This seems to be inline with what you mentioned in point 1.

When the honorary degree is offered by a foreign institution of higher education, the agency may need to make a separate determination as to whether the institution of higher education is a foreign government for purposes of the Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution (U.S. Const., art. I, sec. 9, cl. 8), which forbids employees from accepting emoluments, presents, offices, or titles from foreign governments, without the consent of Congress. The Foreign Gifts and Decorations Act, 5 U.S.C. 7342, however, may permit the acceptance of honorary degrees in some circumstances.
I would like to run a few small and simple Python scripts for QGIS (Mac) from "outside" of QGIS (e.g. Sublime Text). With outside I mean in this context, either the normal os command line (terminal.app) or even better, directly out of Sublime Text (text-editor), but definitely not via the inbuilt QGIS Python Console.
Since I don't want to write new routes in AWS Lambda to manipulate the DB in addition to the NextJS routes I already have, is this possible to consume those NextJS routes from outside the NextJS frontend (my pages are all in CSR) ? If yes, how do you get the whole URL?
Plus one! I find it very limiting that we are not able to trigger interactions from outside a component. couple that with the fact that any fixed or sticky scrolls are possible only on the top-level frame and it makes it very limiting on creating usable (and rather basic) prototypes.
Set up external access if you need to find, call, chat, and set up meetings with people outside your organization who use Teams, Skype for Business Server, or Skype. By default, external access is enabled.
Use guest access to add a person from outside your organization to a team, where they can chat, call, meet, and collaborate on files. A guest can be given nearly all the same Teams capabilities as a native team member. For more information, see Guest experience in Teams.
If you need to have meetings with people outside your organization who aren't part of another Microsoft 365 organization, you can use guest access to allow them to log in to your organization for meetings.
1 Provided that the user has been added as a guest and is signed in with the guest account.
2 Only by email or Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) address.
3 Supported for 1:1 chat for Teams Only to Teams Only users from two different organizations.
4 By default, external participants can't see the phone numbers of dialed-in participants. If you want to maintain the privacy of these phone numbers, select Tones for Entry/exit announcement type (this prevents the numbers from being read out by Teams). To learn more, read Turn on or off entry and exit announcements for meetings in Microsoft Teams.
5 Allowed by default, but can be turned off by the Teams admin
The problem is not with your domain, but with theirs. They must have sharing permissions set to not allow distributing content outside of the domain. And creating content in an external shared drive is a way to distribute content (or at least to greatly facilitate it).
Do they even see the options to create files/folders or is everything greyed out?
The color picker (eye dropper) that is part of the Color panel in the studio will sample from anywhere on the screen. Just drag it where you want it to sample, and release it. The sampled color will fill the well next to the eye dropper, and you can click on that well to assign the color.
Hi, I cannot pick a color from another window. Using the color picker from the color window I can select colors from outside the app but it only select the colors from my desktop, even though I have another window open. When I try to select the color from another app it seems to select the color of my desktop underneath. Any ideas?
