In the comment section, when a file path contains a space, then it cannot be opened :(
Please also notice different slashes when adding from command line and when from paste, both work though :D (when path has no spaces)

The character # is not the reason for the problem?

Hi Priit

1. I can't reproduce this from your report.

The two links in the image are:

 <file:///D:/_Downloads/dave rath.jpg>
 <file:///D:/_Downloads/regedit export word/dave rath.jpg>

2. What exactly do you mean by 'from command line'? Can you give me the exact steps to reproduce this?

Well done Peter, I think you are right!

My subsequent tests suggest that '#' in the folder name (but not in the filename) trips TDL up.

Many thx.

Yeah, it's the # character what's causing the problems.

From command line I just add a comment with -cm and the comment is formatted like a file link, <file:///<filepath>>, so all the \ slashes get preserved.
But it appears that the comment plugin is converting \ -> / when directly pasting to the comment field.
I just thought that consistency would be great, file links in the tasklist also have \ slashes.
But if it's too much work, then it's not worth it, I'm sure you have better things to do and it's only a cosmetic glitch.
