Hi,

When I click in the column to start the timer for an item, and stop it when needed, it works as expected.

Then I put the computer to sleep, then resume the computer from sleep. I then click in the Track Time column again to start timing the item (any item), the clock face symbol will appear in the column as if it is working, but the spent time for that item wont change at all. The only way to get it to work again is to fully exit and restart the program. The settings I am using are below:

Welcome Mark.

1. What version are you using?
2. Can you reproduce this with the sample 'Introduction.tdl' and if so can you give me an exact set of steps to reproduce it?

ps. FWIW, when you put your computer to sleep, ToDoList does not actually stop the time tracking ie. the time tracking resumes when the software resumes

Hello Dan. I am not attempting to track time when in sleep mode, but going into and out of sleep triggers the bug. This is how to trigger the bug:

If "Continue time-tracking a task even when: the computer is hibernated or in standby" is unticked (works ok if ticked), if you start and stop the timer it will work as normal, until after you put the computer to sleep (note I stopped the timer before going into Windows 10 sleep), then resume the computer from sleep. If you then click on that same task again to restart the timer, the timer icon will appear as if it is tracking time, but the "track time" will not change at all.

It may/may not need to be in standby for a considerable length of time to trigger that bug, I haven't experimented much with this bug.

Sorry I don't have anymore time to experiment further with it at the moment as I have much work to catch up on.

>> note I stopped the timer before going into Windows 10 sleep

Thx, I didn't appreciate this subtlety before.
