I currently am putting in the tool path as so:

i.e. an absolute path.
I still upgrade via downloading the new version, unpacking it, copying the .ini from the previous version, etc, etc.. I do this because I can't upgrade directly due to IT policy.
However, the tool path now points to the previous version. Is there a way of making the path relative, so it always points to the new TDL instance (which in my case is in the same directory as the .ini file)?
Can you explain what problem you are specifically trying to solve?
