Hello all,

At first, I would like to apologize in advance for my bad english. I'm not fluent so I'm going to be concise.

The online help about dependencies (http://www.abstractspoon.com/wiki/doku.php?id=dependencies) says "Multiple IDs can be separated with a comma to indicated all of the other tasks must be completed before the current task".

I tried for several hours but it didn't work until I use the Gantt diagram to catch the good syntax. It seems like it's not the comma (,) but the semicolon(;). If so, can you please correct this in the dedicated online help page for the others that could encounter the same problem ? With an exemple of the syntaxe to help them.

And just a little suggestion/opinion.

With a single dependency, a clic on the dependency icon (in list mode), highlights the dependency.
With multiple dependencies, a clic to the same icon highlits only and always the first dependency (even if the first dependency task is terminated and checked).

I think it would be more efficient and useful, if with multiple dependencies, a click on this icon highlights all the dependencies associate with the current task.
So we can spot all of them with one look.
And plus, not higlights the dependencies finished and checked (I don't think it's useful because, they are already finished so in some ways, the dependence is "completed" and not useful anymore)

Thank you for this software. I use it for 2 weeks now and I must admit that it's pretty "well thought" and useful...

Best regards

William

Welcome William.

Conciseness is something I value regardless of fluency :) And your written English is excellent!

Done.

I agree.

>> plus, not highlights the dependencies finished and checked

But what about a single dependency that has been completed (finished and checked)?
Or multiple dependencies which have all been completed?

For now, I will highlight all dependencies regardless of their state so that we can experience the behaviour directly and make a more informed decision.

ps. I will also only be implementing this in 7.2.
