These are couple points of confusion about how the right-click context menu works in rich-text comments.

The context menu displayed on embedded files is the default for the entire comment area. There doesn't seem to be a context menu for embedded objects, and most of the default options don't apply. If we right click on a link, the context menu does show appropriate options. Can that list get whittled down to just those related to the file type (embedded, shortcut, image, etc), including Cut/Copy/Paste/Delete?

As above, copy/paste a file into rich text and embed it.
Now right-click the file icon, go down to Preferences.
We can change all options, including the option to display non-image files.
However, this context menu is for the entire comments area, not for that one embedded object as one might expect. The Preferences here are for setting the default for future file operations. But there's no way to tell the difference between object-specific preferences and global preferences..

What can be done in general to clear some of this up? Or is this just a doc issue?

Thanks.
T

Thx Tony.

I'm not sure how easy it is to detect whether the right-click occurs on an embedded file or not but I'll see what I can do.
