Discussion: With current pace & direction how TDL look in 10 years

TDL is being developed from last 10 year + (Thanks to Dan) , we have category to capture bugs, question, suggestion, unlike other software TDL is public's darling (so many downloads ) opening current thread to capture visions , let's have your creative juice flowing...

Look at the link , may be one fine day , we will be able to run full tdl on cell phones.

I do hope there will be an ecosystem built around TDL that allows TDL lists seamlessly being used on mobile devices, or other solutions (like crossover) to even run TDL itself on there. Looking at the development of mobile technology it seems necessary in the long run to cover this area too, in whatever form.

May be a web server that cater TDL

May be ability to save task in database (oracle/MySQL/sqlserver) along with xml.

May be a full featured mobile app

I do hope it will stay as simple as possible, i.e. no web server or database involved.
The current simplicity despite the mind blowing functionality makes TDL so attractive to me.
It's a portable application, you can run it on Windows and Linux, you only need to sync your xml file in whatever way you want and you're good to go.
Hopefully the creator of the mobile app will have the time & motivation to keep on working on the app soon :)

All may bes are optional (like view/hide plug ins) some may use some may hide and keep it simple.

TDL can already support this via its plugin architecture but I'm not going to be the one to write it :)
