Bug or feature?
Change a comment to rich text. Add a file object or a table.
Now go back to plain text.
Without making a change go back to rich text. The object is still there.
The .tdl can be saved and reloaded after going back to plain text and the rich text version will still be there.
On
one hand these are just different views, and the since the data hasn't
changed in plain text it makes sense that the rich text doesn't lose
detail.
On the other hand, if a user changes all fields to plain text
they might be intending to wipe out the rich formatting, or maybe
they're just not expecting rich text to be present in exports anymore.
Should
there be a warning that going from rich to plain may result in
formatting loss? Or that the rich text is still present even if not
visible?
I have no personal need for a change in this area. I'm just
wondering if anyone else sees it as a bug, or if it's considered a
feature.

ANSWER: Per Dan in another thread, This is intentional == feature.
