Hello,

a task with two selection criteria, shows only the first criteria in the Kanban view.

Best regards

Marcus

Hello Dan,

My contribution was not a suggestion for further Kanban views. I think it is a mistake in the kanban view.

If a task in the Category field contains two criteria (Home, Travel), the task should appear in the two columns (Home, Travel).

But the task appears only in one column (Home). You can see it in the picture.

Best regards
Marcus

Hello Dan
I have only just discovered your wonderful software and am still exploring.

Similar to MB, I allocated a Task to 2 people and was surprised that although both names appeared in the Kanban view, the Task was only assigned to the first name in the 'Allocated To' field..

Presumably this is not what was intended for Kanban?

Also, there is a Kanban panel showing with 'Backlog (0)'.
Should this column still appear when the Option to 'Show empty columns' is cleared?

Regards,
Peter

Hi Marcus, the more I think about this the more I agree.

I will work towards getting this fixed in 7.2.

Welcome Peter.

Probably not. Can you reproduce this issue with 'Introduction.tdl"?

Hi Dan
Thank you for the quick reply.
I would need to remove all tasks from the Backlog panel first I guess.
I did mark all tasks in Introduction.tdl as complete but that didn't remove them from the Backlog list.
Kanban is new concept to me (since discovering tdl yesterday) so I am probably missing something.

When I created a test tdl with one task allocated to 2 people,  the Backlog panel appeared on the far left of the 2 name panels.
With the check box I mentioned clear, the second name  (which was also Allocated to but blank) disappeared  (as 'expected') but Backlog is still there with "(0)".

BTW, I've been using MLO for many years and am most impressed with your app. & especially your generosity to make it free.

Regards
Peter

P.S. When I tried importing my MLO file I had to use an XML export from MLO as the .ml file was not recognized as valid.

Hello again Dan
I just got to lookup 'Backlog' and see you have provided an over-ride to 'always display Backlog'.

You have put a lot of thought into this app over 13 years - fantastic.

Peter
