I have checked all 3 sorting parameters in the general parameters setting.

The problem is:
If I change a task from x% to 100% it stays where it is. But it should be put below into the completed tasks area. On the other hand, If I change a completed task to f.i. 90%, it's not sorted up into the active tasks area.

If I click on the category tab (that's the one I use to sort my tasks), the tasks are put into the right sections/areas (active or completed). But it's not done automatically anymore.

As requested, the ini file attached;

I don't know if Dan needs more detail but I tried to duplicate the reports here and I could not. I have v6.9 and v7.0 side by side and all of the sorts are exactly the same.

Perhaps if you could be more explicit about exactly what you're doing?
If I change the %complete in 7.0, it moves up when 90% and down when 100% = flagged complete.
Note that there is a difference between "flagged as complete", status "complete", and category "complete". These are all different. You can set a category "complete" but that doesn't automatically change the actual completion flag.

And if you use menu>Sort, each time you click on the same option it toggles the sort order between ascending and descending.

Might any of that affect your reports?

I'm using 7.0.8. exactly the way I used 6.3.9. before. :)

I try to explain.

In the entry field '% complete' (or so, I'm using the german version), I either manually enter a percent value or I use the arrow up/down keys on the right side of the entry field. In the old version it behaved like it should. When at 100% the task moved down into the 'completed tasks section', if <100% it moves up into the 'not completed tasks section'. In short, sorting is done when needed.

In the new version, if the value is 100% everything except sorting happesn. The tasks becomes grey, the COLUMN in the treeview shows 100%, but the sorting doesn't happen automatically.

Thx Martin.

I can confirm that 'Sort completed tasks below' is not always being applied.
