Hi,
besides "Navigate Back", "Navigate Foreward", "Select Task References" and "Select Reference Target Task", all other commands are greyed out when in calendar view.
It would be nice to have them grey commands also available in the calendar view
*and*
if I could have a keyboard-shortcut of how to change the day of a task (e.g. +/-1 day), it would be much appreciated too.

is this forseeable? Thx and regards, S.

The 'Move Task xxx' menu options can't really be applied to the Calendar view because the lack of context (task hierarchy) means that the outcomes are completely unpredictable to the user. Even in the Task Tree (for which they were originally written) people get confused because sorting affects the ordering of tasks.

I'll have a think about how best to do it.

Regarding the greyed move-commands, I thought something like what u said. However, it would really be an improvement IMHO, if I could navigate (change the selection of a task) in calander view also with the keyboard (and not only with the mouse). up, down (within the same day and across day borders) and left, right (accross day borders). Actually, I realize, these might be considered new commands all togehter, depending on the viewpoint.

Regarding the changing task dates with a keyboard shortcut, I would like to add, that (actually with or without the shortcut) it would be helpful if one could select multiple tasks in calendar view.

I hope my feedback is not coming across too forceful. Regards, S.

Added 'Edit > Other Task Attributes > Offset Task Dates > Forwards/Backwards' to 7.2.DP12.

You can then use the Keyboard Shortcuts section of the Preferences to assign your own shortcuts.
