Hello. Congratullations for your excellent tool!

I have found a bug when opening TDL with this command line:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ToDoList\ToDoList.exe" -x -v -i C:\MyToDoLists\Config\ToDoList.ini

I'm using the latest version (7.0.7) on Windows 7 (64-bit).
In version 6, the status of the opened tasks and the "vertical" order of the rows is saved on exit even when calling by command line.
But in version 7, that status (opend tasks and vertical order of the rows) plus the new order and the new size of the colums, are never saved on exit when calling by command line (except for the 1st opened TDL, so you need to open more than one to see the effect).

I made a screenshot of both versions, so you can see the effect:
The desired effect in version 6: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jhm34gsz7gsuaah/Good.PNG?dl=0
The bad effect (bug) in version 7: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ebckm9mp27xkyyc/Bad.PNG?dl=0

Thank you!

Hugo

Thx for your report Hugo.

Can you add '-g' to your commandline and run the experiment again pls?

This will turn on logging and the log file should confirm that the ini file you are specifying is in fact the one that is being used.

Hello Dan,

I run it with "-g" but I don't see where is the log file...  it is not in the same folder as my TDL nor INI files, neither in the Program Files...
The "-g" option is not documented, so I tried:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\ToDoList\ToDoList.exe" -g -x -v -i x:\MyToDoLists\Config\ToDoList.ini

Where is the generated log? I looked everywhere with the program opened and also once close, and found nothing...
BUT...  good news! With the "-g" option now it saves the state of everything!!
Is that the expected behaviour? Should I keep the -g option to run in batch mode? This solved the issue for me!

Best regards,

Hugo

Hi Hugo

The log file will probably be located in "C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Abstractspoon\ToDoList".

>> Is that the expected behaviour?

Very unlikely!

>> Should I keep the -g option to run in batch mode?

That's entirely up to you :)

Hi Hugo

I notice that your preference file is stored on another drive (x:).

Can you tell me some more about this drive pls?
