I live in southern Arizona and use local stone for my work - usually
limestone and petrified volcanic ash. The ash is a soft light purple

I have looked at your work on the link you gave me and think it is
beautiful, it has a permanence and organic quality to it that I love, you
want to touch it! I would be happy to place a link on my blog or website to
your site if you would like to (and/ or reciprocate).I studied ceramics,
sculpture and painting at college a long while ago, and although I spend
most of my time painting in mixed media, and acrylics, the kind of art I
love most, is art that is sculptural, so it was lovely to see yours.
Have you tried to upload any images of your work on the ABSRACT ART
SCOTLAND group and also I would suggest writing a short bio. Is your Mum
called Shirley, as I have also received an email from Shirley from Arizona
who joined the group. Please pass the word along to any of your artist
friends and send me any details of the link so that I can add you to my
