Downloading the installer manually was suggested on a few sites, however, downloading and running wlsetup-web.exe from Microsoft gave me the same error message on install. Cue the offline installer. However, the previous links to download the offline installer, such as -all.exe, are now dead. The Internet Archive came to the rescue, and I was able to download it from there.
hello bolt hope your well.. can you tell me if this will work with windows vista home basic 32-bit 2007, am trying to download windows live Essentials but am not right sure in which version to get it so it works for mine, am not right good with computers and stuff, kind regards paul

Thank you! New HD, installed win7, lost win live gallery. I really like the import features, simple, photos are separated and grouped by date and duration during the import. I have struggle to find a photo import that did not tag everything on the flash drive the same. Glad to have this simple program back. Thank you!
Some of the previous links in this thread work and some do not. Here are some Internet Archive links that worked today. Where there are two URLs for a language, the first one redirects to the second. If you copy and paste the second link into your browser you should get a direct download of the Windows Live (Windows Essentials 2012) installer file in that language.
I included the first links for those interested to see how they are related to the links that actually deliver the files. The Archive is a fabulous resource but how it works in this case is not at all clear to me. Sorry the language selection is so Eurocentric; I could only spend so many hours diddling with it. I like your website talking bout tec stuff, but the actual website is aggravating to have a disappearing roll up and down bar. I would fix that if it were my website. Make it easier for novice users to see where they can navigate up and down.
Essentials is a suite of programs which includes Windows Live Mail, MS Security Essentials, Movie Maker, Live Writer, Photo Gallery and One Drive. You can install any one or any combination of these programs. If you are using Windows Live Mail from MS Essentials, that is the program which controls the mail box. If you delete that you would lose your emails. You can safely delete the other components of Essentials if you have them installed without affecting Windows Live Mail.
I am running Windows 8 and using the email program provided. I have not installed Windows Live mail and I do did wish to. However,
I cannot scan and send documents or do much else without the Windows Live product, is that correct? I am getting all my emails just
fine, but I am not using the Windows Live, I tried once to change it and lost all my email and my contact list. Is there a way a scanning

Hi Leo I tried upload to my older comp. with windows 7 antivirus program from eset and have problem . In red comes message ( the signature of this program is corrupt or invalid ) . What can I do to resolve this issue . Appreciate your answer . Thank you .

have got the message and I do not need all the scams but your email I wish to receive, even so, I understand less and less about modern computers as you may know I still hanging with Win 7 64 bits and all the old programs that I own and paid for and know how to use.

I actually had a small part in making this piece with Roland Japan. It started on a piece of A4 paper discussing the interface design. So, having a prototype sent to me months later for testing and preset writing is not the usual way I would acquire gear. Of course, these are small compared to the original but the sound and functionality is all there. It keeps its simplicity, which is important in this unit, but it also adds polyphony, unison mode, and chord memory (which I used a lot for the Detroit recording). Amp [Fiddler] and I were really bouncing off each other between melodies and basslines in the beginning of the set before we turned the tempo up!
I started working with Roland shortly after the TR-8 was released. The TR-8S follow-up fulfilled all my wishes in terms of what was possible in the same format drum machine. Individual outs, trigger outputs for sequencing step sequencers and modular synthesisers, user-defined sampling capabilities for your own one-shot drum sounds, high resolution faders for volume so you can cut sounds in and out quickly with next to no latency, dedicated effects for each sound, and programmable drum sets that allow for any configuration of instruments, and an assignable knob per voice so you can choose what parameters you can affect live.
It goes much deeper, too, with in-depth control of each sound via filters, envelopes, compression, etc., in the pages beneath the first layer of workflow so you can dial things in at the studio but still have the simplicity on stage.
With Circle of Live in Detroit, I had it sequencing the rhythms of both the SH-101 and SH-01A via trigger outs, and then I had five individual outputs left for the drums. In terms of the products Roland has released in the last decade, the TR-8S is my favourite.
All my synths, both software and hardware, have their own channels on my three Model 1 mixers. From the headphone output, I can select which channel I want to send to my external audio looper, a Boss RC-505.
The first time I met Vril I had a little 101 disaster. We were playing at a festival in Colombia together and to make it to the festival we had to go in a small little jet plane. It was so tight and all my gear was pushed into the actual seats. When the pilot tried to fit everything, he dropped the 101 straight onto the asphalt!
After unveiling what's next for the most popular Windows Live client application, Messenger, and the most popular Windows Live web service, Hotmail, Microsoft is now ready to zero in on (most of) the remaining client applications in the Windows Live Essentials suite.
The Windows Live Essentials team says it focused on updating the applications in a way that complements Windows 7 (and still works on Vista, but not XP). Specifically, Microsoft says it focused on making three tasks easier: creating and sharing polished photos and movies with your closest friends, organizing your e-mail accounts in one place with flexible tools to be productive, as well as synchronizing files across your computers and accessing them from virtually anywhere with an Internet connection. Microsoft is focusing on sharing so much because it says 60 percent of PC users share photos weekly and 25 percent edit and share videos. At the same time, though, 50 percent of photos and 80 percent of videos that users take don't get shared because they find it too hard to do so.
The Wave 4 release of Essentials still includes Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Writer, Windows Live Photo Gallery, Windows Live Movie Maker, and Windows Live Family Safety. Windows Live Sync has received a major update and is now part of the suite. The Windows Live Toolbar, meanwhile, has been replaced with the Bing Bar.
