Embedded platforms

Hi,

I'm trying to build abseil for embedded platform which doesn't support Threads. Do you know about any possibility build it or about plans to support such platforms by abseil in the future?

What parts of Abseil are you trying to build, and what problems are you encountering?  If possible, I'd be interested to know what platform/toolchain you're targeting too.

Most parts of the library shouldn't be depending on thread support, I don't think, so I'd expect them to work out-of-the-box.

While I don't think we officially support any such platform, we do periodically accept small patches to improve compatibility when we judge that they won't be a maintenance burden going forward.
