Python and c++ logging

Hi guys,

We spend a fair amount of time wrapping c++ engines into python using boost python. Ideally, we'd like to use the abseil python logging library and we're wondering if there is a way for it and its options to flow through into the c++? For instance, using glog.

Hi Brett,

A logging library is on Abseil C++'s roadmap. The Abseil Python logging library will also provide support to use C++ logging once it's released.

I'm not sure we can write down a time here since estimations are difficult. My *current* *personal* understanding is that this is something like two quarters. But please don't take my word as a promise. Hope this helps.
