In the vertical falling section with the moving starfish during the Determination checkpoint, if the player manages to do a demodash through a wall of spinners, they will access a small room with pink diamonds and two small rooms enclosed in spikes. This section serves as a practice room for people who want to learn demodashes. It's also an alternate room for TAS (Tool Assisted Speedruns) or very dedicated speedrunners.
Throughout 2018, the Blue Diamonds maintained tactical proficiency despite a very challenging maintenance period. Despite reduced flight hours, VFA 146 participated in various detachments and maintained carrier proficiency during a carrier qualification detachment onboard STENNIS in June 2018. In the summer of 2018, VFA 146 and CVW 11 bid farewell to CSG 11 and started a new era with CSG 9 onboard THEODORE ROOSEVELT. In November 2018, VFA 146 and CVW 11 began workups for a scheduled 2020 deployment. In addition to the normal Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) detachments, VFA 146 and CVW 11 participated in the NORTHERN EDGE exercise onboard THEODORE ROOSEVELT off of the coast of Alaska in late spring 2019; working to strengthen coalition interoperability with the U.S. Air Force. The Blue Diamonds continue to be forged into an elite combat team - lethal and ready to defend our nation's interests abroad...keeping the away game, away. Fly Navy!
Why's it feel, like it kills, when you're leaving me
Am I still hanging on to the ends of yesterday in me
When I was crying for my fears, bitter tears
But you made me see we're crazy running
Crazy running like we're running out of time
Why's it feel, like it kills, you're not leaving me
Am I still hanging on to the ends of yesterday in me
Still defining all my fears, bitter tears
You can make me see we're crazy running
Crazy running like we're running out of time
Why's it feel, like it kills, you're not leaving me
Am I still hanging on to the ends of yesterday in me
When I was crying for my fears, bitter tears
But you made me see we're crazy running
Crazy running like we're running out of time
What do we have but illusions where one man's absolute is another's choice
Giving in to confusion, till love and hate both tempt with the same voice
Won't you take me to a higher ground, I need to see again the way I'm bound
N' choose the uneasy redemption, run by fear and the flaws of attraction
If life itself has a meaning, is it anything more than what we choose to call it
Sweet words make appealing, but they only serve to mask the smell of what you buried
Is it worth your while to spend on a lie, even though you cannot see eye to eye
N' give in to the rumor seduction, run by fear and all the good intentions
I know the way you go cos I've been the same for too long
Like I'm fearful that my choices are all wrong
I know the way you go cos I've lived your life of make believe
Dying to live
Cos when you're sleeping right next to me, I know you're the one
So when I hear you calling my name, yeah, I know you're the one
I guess that's why it's raining diamonds, sweet happiness in tears
Crying heaven shed your diamonds, diamonds for tears
Cos when you're sleeping right next to me, I know you're the one
So when I hear you calling my name, I know the good I've done
I guess that's why it's raining diamonds, sweet happiness in tears
Crying heaven shed your diamonds
Cos when you're sleeping right next to me, I know you're the one
So when I hear you calling my name, I know the good I've done
I guess that's why it's raining diamonds, sweet happiness in tears
Crying heaven shed your diamonds, diamonds for tears
It's a bad trip on a sinking ship, when no-one seems responsible
Scapegoat to rock the boat, yeah, we need someone expendable
Volunteers to face the fears, can we be sensible
And find a way to break the fall, find out the cure for all
But with the help and encouragement of his friends and family, he decides to take on his new journey. At the day of his departure, after Sawamura gets on the train, his friends reveal that they really loved playing baseball with him and secretly wanted him to stay and form a team with them anew. They never told him about their reluctant feelings before because they knew that Sawamura wouldn't go otherwise. It was a tearful farewell.
Sawamura continues to practice alone and is surprised when Chris joins him. Chris tells him that if Sawamura can't pitch to the inside then he doesn't have to, but encourages him to learn throwing low and away instead. Miyuki apologizes to Chris for asking him to help out but Chris says that it's something he always wanted to say to him and hopes that it'll help Sawamura get over his fear of throwing to the inside.
Miyuki is good at exploiting Sawamura's potential, giving out aggressive calls that draw out the pitcher's instinct and fighting spirit; on the other hand, Sawamura is able to fearlessly respond to such calls and throw pitches that exceed expectations. This shows the battery has complete trust in one another. In the Final of the Fall Tournament, the battery pulled off one of their greatest achievements so far. They struck out Todoroki Raichi and Sanada Shunpei back to back.
Sawamura's cutter has a sharp breaking motion when coming close to the plate. Since Sawamura is a left-handed pitcher, his Cutter breaks into the body of a right-handed batter, frequently able to induce jams and ground balls. This gives Sawamura a notable advantage against right-handed batters, which is the more common type of player in baseball compared to left-handers. The cutter has became one of the key pitches within Sawamura's repertoire as Sawamura develops his reputation as a gutsy pitcher that fearlessly targets the inside part of the zone.
It wasn't just the Birkenstock crowd or our Depression-era elders who knew this. It's been nestled in our collective subconsciousness among all the critiques against materialism, all the screeds against commercials, all the unease about excess and inequality, all the fear that we've filled our kids' lives and landfills with stuff. But it was as commonly dismissed as a Sunday sermon. Or manipulated into a pitch for diamonds.
June Dorie (née unknown), formerly known by the aliases Naomi and Laura, also formerly known as Blue Jay within PADRE, is a main character and a survivor of the outbreak in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. At some point, she met John Dorie (whom nicknamed her "Laura") and fell in love with him before running away in fear of emotional attachment.
Dwight asks Sherry why she even came here in the first place since Sherry could've just given June directions, and Sherry tells him that it was for their son. While Finch is gone, PADRE isn't, but Dwight asks why Sherry wants to fight for it since PADRE is the reason that Finch is dead. Sherry insists that "maybe something good can come from something bad" and that they have to try so that Finch's life can mean something. By helping these kids and helping make PADRE into something better, they can honor Finch. However, while Dwight promises to honor Finch in his own way, he can't go back there. Sherry angrily demands to know what Dwight thinks that Finch would say if he knew that his father had walked away from kids that needed protection, but Dwight sadly explains that it's not because he doesn't care about the kids that he won't go back, but rather because Dwight does, fearing that he'll cause more harm than good if he tries to help and leaves the room, followed by Sherry. Left alone with June, Dove appears to be upset by what she has witnessed.
As Ash heads back to Hearthome City for his long-delayed Gym battle, he's concerned about his own Gligar's battle woes. Even though Ash gives Gligar lots of special training, it just can't get its act together. Gligar finally gives up and flies away, only to run into Gary Oak. Gary offers to help with Gligar's problem, starting by having a friendly battle between Gligar and Gary's Umbreon. Once the battle starts, Gligar panics, and Gary realizes what the problem is: Gligar is overcome by fear whenever it tries to fight.
Gary thinks Gligar should use a Razor Fang to evolve into Gliscor, and Gary just happens to have a Razor Fang he can give to Ash. Once Gligar is a powerful Gliscor, its fear will be a thing of the past! Gligar loves this idea, but Ash says no; he wants Gligar to conquer its fear before it evolves. Poor Gligar gets another shock when Team Rocket springs an ambush with their giant Gliscorbot, snatching Gligar and making a getaway. Ash manages to leap onto the Gliscorbot before it escapes, but that just means Ash and Gligar end up stuck in the same cage!
While Team Rocket celebrates their catch by eating themselves into a stupor, Ash coaches Gligar to break them out of the cage with X-Scissor. With Gligar's help, the two of them then escape across a chasm, and Gligar's confidence begins to build. Just in time, too, because Team Rocket has caught up with their escaped captives! Ash tosses Gligar the Razor Fang and it evolves just in time to save them both from Team Rocket's clutches. In fact, by the time Gary and the others catch up to Ash, Gliscor has Team Rocket pretty well beat! Gary says his farewells and our heroes get back on the road to Hearthome City, now accompanied by a confident new Gliscor!
Not soon after, the two begin a battle, Umbreon versus Gligar, to try to figure out why Gligar is having problems training. Ash has Gligar take to the skies and dive down for a Steel Wing. Gary calls for Umbreon to use its Shadow Ball. While the attack misses its target, Gligar recoils in fear anyway, and it falls back down and lands on Ash. Gary takes note that Gligar easily gets frightened when facing an opponent. Gary says that the first step they have to take is to try and overcome that fear. Ash pipes up and says that you just have to focus and concentrate, to which Gary quickly shuts him down, saying that he'll never change. He says that to use Steel Wing effectively, the Pokémon using it needs to jump up in the air as high as possible beforehand, and if they can work on that then Gligar's confidence would surely return. Dawn is amazed by how Gary explained it, to which Ash takes offense. Taking in the feedback, Gligar starts warming up to the battle by bouncing on its tail like a spring, before jumping up to fly. However, once in the air, Gligar becomes scared by the altitude and falls back down to the ground, landing on Ash again.
