Moving as many over from google abrigon-world list to either yahoo list with same name, or stargrunts? Will see if permenant or temporary? Already created another manager for Abrigon-World list, anyone else?

 

Stargrunts, like to have someone who is more intune with Stargrunts the game to be a manager/moderator, and maybe one day owner.. I love the sci-fi aspects, just not a wargamer now days, let alone a gamer much these days, will see as things change and I get more time to do things. Found my car plug in for winterizing, so will see if it works now and how things change? The fun of living out of the main town, love the small town but to far to walk and bus service is not for anyone outside the normal life of 9-5.. And I am almost always outside that parameters, be it 7pm-7am, or weekends, or where the bus does not go. Been tempted to move south to Oregon and do much the same things I do know but my own company, and back to pseudo-EMT/CNA but will see.. Still got to go back to college this spring and see about classes in mental health, substance abuse and suicide prevention. Alaska sadly has alot of subsance abuse (alcohol but others coming in), and suicide (villages especially). Its why I adjust my chat addiction to only go to Alaska room or Depression Support. The depression support helps me with healing and being more active in helping others deal with depression issues and why depressed or why they are self destructive? Not always a happy place, but ...

Sadly got too abrigon-world lists and will see about removal and who is on both..

 

Consolidate, will have to check it out, remove googlegroup and move all to the yahoogroup of Abrigon-World.

 

Was working 12 hour night shifts 5-6 nights a week, but tried to move to days and it is not working. Between car freezing up, which makes it hard to do anything, such as get to work on time (bus does not make it easy to work the job I do, as a cab driver).

 

Sadly between the limited time to do anything on line, slow connect and the basic fact that windoz SUCKS and keeps crashing.. Odd how that happenes when a new OS comes out? Will see.

 

Over extended myself, between lists, myspace/facebook/twitter. and email. Yahoogroups and Googlegroups takes more and more time to download and show it self.. More fluff or .. working on removing Norton and all its crap for ... will see.

 

Removed ya from abrigo...@yahoogroups.com now to see about google? You was on special notice on yahoo, so not sure how you got posts? But ... tired of yahoo, but google is not much better it seems?

 

Now if I Can get my palm top to work right for once.. Palm and all, nice idea but .. Black berry sucks as well (damn track ball!)

 

More laters, got to get dressed and read for the bus, its -20F outside and my lady is in outpatient surgery today, and I should be there for her. She has been working to change my life, and make it less disorganized? Or at least cleaner.

 

I did put myself on moderated status on my lists, so I can make sure I Was not just rambling incoherantly as well as the over posting I was doing (trying to make sure all three of my humor lists have the same posts, groan). Filters and auto forward not always a good idea!

 

Got the car, so I could work other than nights and be dependent on the bus system, as well as to have a life other than driving cab, like being able to go dancing on Friday nights, or see some buddies and have some fun, but .. car frozen, the fun of Alaska, did not get it winterized on time before the temp dropped to -20F.. On that note, off to dress and on the bus, to see my lady!

 

Thank you Phil. Damn google is a pain to do most anything as a list owner.. or will see about closing google abrigon-world down, most all the list members to yahoogroups abrigon-world or .. stargrunts is not for abrigon, its for wargaming but ..

      A few months ago(after the Judge Dredd List debacle)you told everyone that you were suffering from sleep deficiency(amongst other things)and asked the membership to inform you if you started rambling and showing signs of losing the plot.I notice that,until now,no-one has had the decency to affirm your worries.
     Since the JD crowd had a go at you for your repetitive questioning posts which answered themselves in the content you have continued to deluge everyones inboxes with double doses of this from both this group and cross posts from your Abrigon list.It has got so bad that I,as a moderator on this list,had to put myself on Daily Digest setting to preserve my own sanity.
    As a sufferer of chronic PTSD myself I have noticed the signs in your disjointed messages that you are definitely heading towards a breakdown and need to do something about it now rather than when it is too late(been there,done that,etc)
   It might make things easier if you were to close your Abrigon list and transfer everything onto this Group to save duplication of everything and then take a break and leave the day to day running of the  group to myself and the other moderators while you take whatever steps are necessary to recover your health.
   I say close the Abrigon Group because it would appear that it is impossible to unsub from it despite the numerous unsub messages I have sent to it.It seems that only you can unsub people from it and,as it only repeats everything that appears on this list,it seems pointless to keep it running.
  If you decide to follow my ad vice and take a break until you recover you may need to alter some of the moderator settings.I noticed that amongst the 70 bouncing members were two of the moderators but when I tried to unbounce them I found that my Moderator status was not sufficient to allow this.
