Thats a good idea or like.. Why did he invite them there? Mystery? Reading of the Will or alien/abduction/possession?
Local spirits not liking the imports?
Dead baby, aborted or murdered or miscarriage?
Lost special needs kid, like the younger brother/sister of the then king, who is a lost soul?
Ban Shee (family guardian/ancestor/one that screams at the death of the clan leader/laird/chieftain? that has come over as well? Ghosts of those dead in the old dungeon? Buried alive or worse?
Millionare did not die, he just changed bodies and is now ...
I love the idea of the evil demons looking like someones friends, but the bad spirits moved from their evil looking bodies and the friends who bodies were stolen, are now in the demons?

Yes some the loss of a sense is no real loss, might even be helpful or ... Hard to be effected by a demons visual effect, if you cant see the demons face?
Captain Hook, how he lost his hand.. Whale/shark or like? Or bad accident when younger or what?
Does it always mean they are bad people? In some myths, those who was perfect, with all limbs and hands/feet, are godly, but if you lose a hand or arm or like your not godly and maybe even outcast, and not for the modern reason of cut off hand cause of stealing and having to use your whiping hand to eat with.
Scott from X-men, has glasses, to block out his super power, there is others where an eye patch hides something or yes, its just mundane loss of an eye, puss and all..

That's something very interesting to think about actually. I've certainly had characters that are physically or mentally handicapped in one way or another. Veterans who had lost limbs in a conflict for example. One of the main characters for one of my as of yet unpublished novels is such a character, who lost an arm in a conflict fifteen years prior to the events of the main story. I suppose that is a trope of sort yes?
In games I've seen a host of one-eyed characters, cause eye-patches are cool. One person in a Supernatural Horror game I played in once played a paraplegic antiquarian. The game was set in the 1920's, so it did prove to be an interesting limitation for a PC to have.
Thinking on Literature and such in general I do think there are, if not 'stock' characters in terms of physical handicap, than certainly sort of 'themes' when having a physical deformity or handicap or what have you is a characteristic, rather than say the focus of the narrative. Demonstration of a previous physical history is one such obvious trait. Like the veteran mentioned above, it combines suggesting 'loss' but also 'this is some-one who has put themselves in danger in the past'.
I can think of a few villains in that mold, and very often they are, like say Captain Hook, villains with a certain degree of cerebralness, where their physical 'otherness' perhaps represents, but doesn't necessarily define their villainy.
On a seperate note there is also the use of physical handicap in juxtaposition; The Blind Swordsmen, the Blind Psychic, the paraplegic with immense mental or even physical abilities.
I'll think on this more actually.

Elevator 2020
Idea for something, a film in horror, set in the Idanha?
Namely a story of a resident that died while trying to escape/get to the hospital and now is a ghost and still trying to get out?
Any ideas of settings? We have how many people that still have apartments in the building that they can not live in due to the elevator being out?
I know like has been done in the past, its a major part of old Castle Horrors and like after all.. now its just a Gothic Hotel/Apartments.. add in several other fun elements and you never know? Old tunnels and more? I get along well with the Sikh down stairs in Bombay..
Working on ideas for a horror/drama/mystery or like book/story idea, any one have any ideas? I know of the elevator operator that was having to much fun and a husband did something?
Someone talks about an elevator is broke again in Boise and they know its the one at the Idanha in Boise. Might even know more.
Elevator as the entry point for the movie/event/escape?

The things that can and do happen in the woods? Positive and negative. I know as I get older, getting an RV or cabin and living in the woods, away from people and the type of people that you can meet there? Criminal, enviromental, tourists, and more. Or just local wild life? to space aliens, or just persons lost?

B-Wood Kid
Idea is to be a kid that is pushed out of society due to being a geek/nerd and ends up growing up in the woods near by.
Does he go to school or home schooled or not at all? Learned by finding books and figuring things out.
Nice person. Seen alot of how "normal" society can be and their violence and bullying.

Its a story I am working on for a possible novel. The kid meets along the way various types of beings.. Some very nice, be it the old veteran that got burned out by the world and now lives in the woods. I get along well with animals of all kinds, be it bears to ravens..

One story idea is the below..
Spaz kid
hyper
abandoned
forgotten and got on the city bus by accident on his first day of school, due to parent had forgotten him/her?
Got beaten by someone on his first day.
hides/gets home via the woods and not risk being hunted by the popular kids.
meets a spirit of the woods? bear or bird?
then what?
they find a serial killer or ... the serial killer is human or animal or spirit or horror of some sort?
or what else?
Ideas is the kid goes nature, knows things that most humans no longer know, such as how to hide in plain site, but since your 30 feet up, they do not see you cause most humans only see a narrow 30 degree or so right/life, up/down and if your outside of that zone, they might not see you, until you jump down and ..
The kid is very friendly with other animals but does not always do well with "normal" humans, they think him a bit odd/wierd and take advantage of his good nature, and need for social connections and purpose.
Parents, especially mother, keeps him in his room, in part due to his odd nature, hyper, and seemingly moronic or just odd nature. Reading but not very well kept, seeming they care more for their dog? Even put him in special need schools/classes and not having any friends, he is alone and has to deal with many things, runs alot, even if not being hunted.. Even put into a school, that seems they think he maybe possesed?
Sibling does not want him around, he ruins her social life and is creepy?
Spends alot of time in the library, where it is quiet, and safe.. Quiet helps him with his attention issues and he is well read.
What might else be out in the woods?
Another like him/her much the same, or very different?
Toy master or like person?
Aliens or like, friendly or not so friendly?
Droid maker?
Veteran gone to ground and just wants to be left alone?

Been working with several authors and like, one a military related super natural. The other about aliens that are trading with some earth humans.. Just for fun and ideas.. Yes, once had CN-ELF, an alternate earth, where the aliens arrive on large off shore islands to build things and infiltrate things, and then one day they rise up and take things over, and your a group of kids/young adults that are mounting a resistence against them and their habits of turning humans into slaves and also eating them and like..
Yes, working with a local gal, on a horror story or like for possible filming.. Will see how it all goes.. I still prefer my Bus-13 story line.. Of a group of special needs kids that deal with supposed evil creatures, but often find they are just special needs themselves and pushed out due to their being "different".. Trolls, Gargoyles and like.. The bus driver is a very dedicated to his kids, later found out that he has been undead for a while, dedicated to his kids..
