One of the basic ideas of CN-ELF is that aliens have come but not in giant ships and like, but in small means, infiltration basicallly and over time have built bases all over "Earth" and one day, after marshalling their forces on said Island (Madagascar, Kodiak and others) they attack in one massive wave of attacks and crush all humans resistance. They seemed to be much like what we here call super beings, able to fly, project energy from hands and eyes and other abilities, all was humanoids but not all was obviously human, some more or less.

 

Now several years later,  you the member of the human race, using tech that likely was the result of the alien invasion beginning, mount a resistance for the fate of humanity and yes the Earth civilization.

 

The nanotech that made the aliens attack so devestating, seems to have escaped or it was known cause of low level meta humans before the invasion or maybe the metas was part of why the aliens attacked or .. more will be found out and seen.

 

So now several years later you are humanities last and I hope best hope, as you learn about the enemy, how to fight them, as well as your new powers and abilities and use them for a good purpose and not just to be ... powerful..

 

As well as how much do the Nanites know and do and how aware are they and who is really in control of the aliens? We shall see.
