Didn't see anything like that on my end. When the owner left on of the
owther mail lists I am on, as moderator there, I was givne the ownership.
That hasn't happened for these lists.

Sounds like someone has hacked your account.Can you run a trace from your end?
IF not,then contact the server and tell them what has happened,giving your details of ownership.

Hum, okay.. will see how it all goes. got an email in to
ab...@gogglegroups.com to see what happened and why?

The membership numbers are all off, shows list had 37 members, but you do a
look and it has 46 or so members, maybe the 37 is those who are verified as
existing?

Sorry all for the blurt and all, trying to figure out what happened and been
working 12 hours a nights and limited time to sleep between the bus ride
to/from work and all..
