Pigeon Lake 200 still a go?

Hi everyone,

Newcomer to randonneuring here. Planning on riding the Pigeon Lake 200 on May 24 (my first). Just wanted to confirm that the event is still a go.

Welcome. 

Currently, three of us are riding the Genesee 200 on Monday, May 19. I was away last w/e and the others are keen to ride. We are not a large club - marathon cycling is a pretty specialized niche. We do t encourage solo riding but realize a rider can name one’s own decision. During my riding of brevets since 1987, I certainly have ridden many rides solo - including upto 600kn!

Yes, the Pigeon Lake ride is on for May 24. So far, I don’t know who’s riding.

We do allow a week grace each side of the date due to weather +/- fires/smoke.

Thanks Jeff, much appreciated.

Good to know that solo completion OK and the date is flexible. I'd a long ride planned for this Sunday (18th) on a customary route, but would it be in keeping to just do the Pigeon Lake ride in place of that instead?

Failing that, I hadn't heard the Genesee ride's date had shifted (website shows May 10 IIRC). I'll mull around shifting my registration and maybe just join the three of you instead.
