The Central New Mexico and Houston Area Move to Amend affiliates endorse this (attached) petition
"Sign this White House PETITION asking the President why he won't release the full text of the TPP now?
"The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is being written and negotiated in secret by 600 corporate lobbyists without release of its provisions to the American People or their representatives in Congress. Now, the White House is pushing for Fast-Track Authority or FTA. FTA would effectively silence debate and eliminate any possibility of amendment. The TPP is anti-democratic and nothing but a power grab by the multinationals for control of our future.
If you like, take a short look at the TPP in general, The Dirtiest Deal You Never Heard Of..
And/or watch a 40 minute video by Dr Erik Monasterio, a physician who explains in plain language about how our public health has already been harmed by big PHARM and the even more harm that would come from the TPP agreement.

*The Coordinators have endorsed the ANSWER Coalition's nationally coordinated "Right to Work" protest action tomorrow night, 2-25-15, 6PM at the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, 2nd and Gold SW and I'll be making some remarks PLEASE be there if you can
*5 of us have initially reviewed the National MOU (which you should have received) and are tabling signing it until our March meeting. We welcome your imput
*Our March meeting on the 21st may need to be rescheduled as the Peace Center is (possibly) holding it's Annual Membership Meeting at that time-so watch for that
*I haven't heard back from Stop the War Machine yet but we did decide to offer them as much help as they need in putting on this year's David Barsamian talk at the Peace and Justice Center Thursday March 19th at 6PM so mark your calendar to be there (you'll remember we had a very good time as David's sponsors last year at the NM School of Music)
*The Peace and Justice Center now has two offices open for rent (with Center amenities, internet etc...) for 250.00 a month so please contact them if you, or someone you know is interested-thanks, Tom
