***Due to the AC for Peace & Justice hosting it's annual membership meeting OUR March Central New Mexico Move to Amend meeting has moved to 11AM Saturday, 3-28 at Fans of Film Coffee 504 Yale SE (Yale and Garfield SE)--call me for directions 450-1268

***Don't forget David Barsamian host of Alternative Radio appearing at the Peace Center (202 Harvard SE) at 6PM, Thursday, March 19th focusing his talk on Drone Warfare-sponsored by Stop the War Machine, Veterans for Peace, CNM Move to Amend and many other groups (I will connect you with Bob Anderson if you wish to help out with food or the event)
***Stand up against displacement of the homeless-demand immediate services and fair treatment!:
In Honor of the killing of Abba (James) Boyd, a homeless camper shot and killed by APD last March and in acknowledgement of the ongoing Police Brutality Issues in Albuquerque and our State and the high level of Poverty everywhere, please come join t
he existing camp at the NE corner of Lomas and I-25 and support the Residents while they seek a safe, secure and clean place to exist while working to improve the conditions they live in. Come anytime and come and go as you need. Begins tomorrow, the 12th, goes until we find sustainable solutions. Eviction process is expected Friday 13th around lunch.

Please bring your own tent, snacks, water and other personal items. Port-a-potty is available. Ample parking for those that need to come and go. Easy bus access via Lomas. Micro-House competition Sunday 15th (salvage material only and limited tool set). Residents shall judge designs for innovation, creativity, livability and portability.

All avenues have been exhausted and City officials received our highly viable proposal for a 'permitted' camp on 4 March with several resubmissions since then. They have not responded to our calls for a meeting to discuss this. The winter shelter closes this weekend and we need solutions NOW. Today!

Eviction begins Friday at 1:00 The current camp is safe and clean and the Residents are doing a fantastic job developing their community.

Horizontal organizing is in effect, so let's do this community! All welcome. All needed. All struggles are the same.
