Hi everyone,

We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to our AGU session, "Advancing Large-Domain Hydrologic Modeling and Prediction Capabilities via New Datasets, Methods, and Modeling Strategies."

This session aims to showcase recent advances in leveraging new datasets, innovative methodologies, and emerging modeling strategies to improve hydrologic prediction across large spatial domains. We welcome contributions on topics including:

  • Development, evaluation, and application of large-domain meteorological and hydrologic datasets.
  • Use of large-domain and large-sample datasets for hydrologic modeling, prediction, and projection.
  • Process-based and AI-driven (ML/DL) approaches for data processing, modeling, and prediction.
  • Uncertainty quantification and probabilistic or ensemble modeling frameworks.
  • Practical experiences and opportunities for advancing hydrologic prediction in the era of usable AI.

The abstract submission deadline is August 5. You can submit using the following link: https://agu.confex.com/agu/agu26/prelim.cgi/Session/279377

We look forward to receiving your abstract.

Best regards,

Hongli Liu
(on behalf of the convenors: Guoqiang Tang, Andy Wood, and Martyn Clark)
