Dear Colleagues,
The water science community is invited to contribute to a new survey led by Dr. Vidya Samadi (Clemson University), in collaboration with the National Weather Service, the South Carolina Office of Resilience, and CUAHSI.
We welcome insights from researchers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in water science, AI modeling, and water resources management. Your input will directly inform the development of FloodEngine—a next-generation software platform designed to advance flood analytics, forecasting, and decision support.
The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes and focuses on current practices, key challenges, and unmet needs in flood modeling and communication.
